I have finally made a concrete positive decision on how to deal with Entrecard. it took just one comment to make that happen; and voila today it happens.

this is the comment left on the previous post, which was all about the ec drop and roll problem.

Entrecard really promotes traffic but produces high bounce rate---meaning, droppers just drop cards and spend 3 seconds in ur blog, never read and never comment. So what? That's the way it works. If you don't want this, you might as well get out of EC .
Another thing is , no one is obligated to leave a comment nor read a blog post. You can never force anyone who drops by at your blog to spend his time reading. If he does not care, so what?
You , as a blogger, should have the responsibility to improve your content and devise ways to make anyone drop by ---not just drop by but read your content and leave comment.
There is no blogging rule that exists in this world that says "everyone who drops by should leave a comment".
Bloggers have different purposes why they blog. So if one just wants to make money, he may never care to read ur blog. If he just wants reciprocal traffic, he may never leave a comment. If he wants commenters, he may comment in other blogs to encourage commenting on his blog.
As I've said, there are no blogging rules. Each one to his own.
But I tell you, if you just want everybody who drops by at your blog ---either get out of EC or either strive hard to encourage commenting.
Just like me, if I drop an EC on a blog and the blog post caught my attention, I would read . If I have something to say, I comment. If not, I don't. If I don't have the time to comment I don't. I only comment on blog posts that interest me, relevant to me or something where I am interested to comment on. If not , then I don't.
So don't feel upset about it. It's just the way it is. If you don't like the way it is, then don't blog.; June 21, 2009 11:17 PM

My blogger Vhing had sent me a message about this Bad Guy writing harsh words and racist comments about my entrecard drops. I was fuming mad when I read your post. You just wrote insensible and irrational method as a blogger and maybe, you don't understand what is EC all about.

If you want a blog purely for your friends, then keep it private and remove your EC card badge in your blog for your peace of mind. This is because you hate people who just drop their cards and without leaving comments. That is a very silly, immature behaviour. In my opinion, I don't care people not leaving comments and there are reasons for that either they don't like the contents and have no time to leave a comment. But I returned a comment only if they left a message. But if not, it doesn't bother me at all and I will be thankful for their time in dropping a card or passing by.

I'm a top commenter to blogs that I like to comment and the contents that would interest me.

And also, you also left harsh comments to all Filipinos. You said you are not a PINAY (of course because pinay is a female term) and you love pinays (do you gf's?), I don't think so. You did the same to others. This is not all about blogging but you are downgrading us and racist.

So the solution is - NO MORE INBOX DROPS - I AM HENCEFORTH ONLY DROPPING FROM MY FAVORITES.

This false claim of Racism made me so mad, that i decided I had to seperate myself from people who would lie and play with my reputation in this silly and very immature manner. So if you missed anything, let me sum it up in a simple sentence - Droppers Have a Ball.

Before you know it, a steam roller comes through plowing down the character of others based on half-truths. I think 'racist' is too strong of a word to use in this situation.

Many people who visit your blog know that you are a person who's not SHY when it comes to expressing your OWN opinions. And in my OPINION...there's nothing wrong with that.

Racists, racism, racist attitudes. . .are just stinking words and symbols which are used to separate the human race. Since we live on the SAME planet and breathe the SAME air, it seems we'd be further along by now.

In my business, I've gotten several emails from folks accusing me of being a racist. But when people see what I do, they only see HALF of the story.

In closing, it should not be a crime to ASK for what you want, NOR is it racist to ASK for what you want, AND I wouldn't let a few people disturb my peace of mind by calling me one when I know otherwise.

I dropped back the first couple days and then would just pick one. I drop for 3 blogs and only drop 100 for each and sometimes on the same blogs, but mine never show up back-to-back in my inbox (I've dropped on myself just to see, lol). Anyway. I wish I could say that I can't believe people would do this, but unfortunately that's not true. I've had way too many experiences with people being mean just so they can start things that they later don't want to deal with.

Brava for your decision to take the initiative with this matter and change the way that you blog. EC has some major problems but it is a great way to test the waters of getting new readers.

I have met so many wonderful bloggers that have high quality blogs and regularly comment. At the other extreme are the poor quality blogs, which to be honest I don't know how they get into EC since I was under the impression that each blog was screened before it was approved.

I'm especially concerned about people with 6 blogs (even if the content were not the same) no one can properly visit blogs while dropping if they are dropping for so many blogs. I think that the EC approval process needs to get better, and should be especially strict for each additional blog that a blogger submits.

somefolks need to learn how to get a fricken job instead of pimpin other peoples blogs, for their beer. it's the Vhing connection that most puzzles me. why would she do such a vile thing ? she has scarred her reputation with this and she has four blogs - she is also a Blog Milker.

if the truth were to be told I could say very honest things about them that may sound mean; but I will hold my self to a higher standard and tell them to get away, because if they dont' I will take care of them. never doubt that. I have the resources to reach out and put them right back in touch with reality, if I choose to.

they should be glad that I have decided to be done with them, instead.
