The list of Jamaican entertainers being denies United States visas continues to grow as it’s being reported that Dancehall star, Mr. Lexx had his visa revoked.

The Jamaica STAR is reporting that Mr. Lexx (real name, Christopher Palmer) was at the Norman Manley airport expecting to leave for a show booked for him in the U.S. However, Lexx was turned back by officials; telling him that his visa was revoked.

When contacted regarding the matter, Mr. Lexx stayed silent stating "No comment. At least not now. Mi nuh wish fi comment pon it right now.” Mr. Lexx joins the likes of Bounty Killer, Mavado, Beenie Man, Ricky Trooper and Aidonia; fellow Jamaican entertainers who also had their visas revoked within the last year.

For Me, it was a tape given to me by a friend. In the old days Rastamen courted their potential queens with Music, Fruit, Incense and Ishens. yes those were the days.. The tape had alot of music on it, but most of it was Gregory Isaacs. That tape created an instant fan. from that day in 1977 I was hooked on the coolness of Gregory Isaacs.

This compilation is to highlight his career as an artist, producer and record label owner. Many people forget that his African Museum Label released all of Gregorys' music begining in the late 1990's. He did alot of tunes for a great many of the hottest producers of the day. But His Work came out of African Museum; and it had that special sound.

When you listen to his voice, you can't help but to feel the gritty smooth rudeness of the Kingston of the 1970's and 80's. Mostly because he croons it like thick coconut jelly. There will be many but there will only be One Cool Ruler.

This Tribute Contains the Following Twenty Tunes - along with a short two part biographical commentary. Next Week we will release the soundtrack minus narration; in two parts.

Police say Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke was wearing this wig (above) when he was held yesterday.

According to our confidential sources, the amount of money on the head of Christopher Dudus Coke convinced a snitch to phone in to the JDF the Location and Time of the Surrender. the snitch was inside the US Embassy. YES Inside the US Embassy - this tells you that the surface of this simmering pot has been deceivingly cool for a little while, which the bottom bubbled with deceit.

CHRISTOPHER ‘Dudus’ Coke — Jamaica’s most wanted fugitive — was captured yesterday afternoon in a police dragnet along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine.

Coke, is without his beard when he was held yesterday.

The capture of Coke, who is wanted by United States authorities to answer drug-trafficking and gun-running charges, comes just short of a month after he escaped from his former stronghold of Tivoli Gardens in West Kingston when the security forces stormed the community to execute an arrest warrant on him and restore order after gunmen loyal to him barricaded all entrances to Tivoli and launched unprovoked attacks on the State.

Coke was travelling in a car with the Rev Al Miller when he was held at approximately 4:00 pm at a motor vehicle spot check set up by the police who apparently had information that he would be travelling on that road yesterday.

A cop, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Observer that the vehicle in which Coke was travelling was being escorted by two cars carrying gunmen and that police officers were following the convoy for several hours. The cop said the car in front of that in which Coke was travelling was allowed to get away as Coke’s capture was their main focus.

There was reportedly a subsequent altercation and both women argued openly as to who the soldier wanted, and even threw blows at each other. The soldier over who they were fighting reportedly had to step in to quell the fracas.

Tivoli Under Visa System - WTF ?

"During the curfew hours of 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., persons entering or leaving Tivoli Gardens are required to obtain an access pass which is issued by the police commander who is located at the police post in the community.

"Persons qualifying for this entry/exit pass are, for example, members of the essential services (nurses, doctors, JPS, JFB, Correctional Services, etc), students who have evening classes, and others who may have various emergencies."

Can You Imagine ? You Leave your home to go to work, then when you return you are told you need a pass to enter your own community and to leave ?

What are they thinking ?

Obviously the Government of Jamaica has some problems to control, but putting people under Lock Down in their own communities with Passbooks and Visas will not work. this is the highest violation of privacy rights. free movement is a right of all individuals and this pass system that is being instituted in Western Kingston can only lead to deeper and deeper rifts between the community, the government and the security forces.

Bruce Golding Speaks Finally - and it's not good

Early in the evening on Monday May 17th, 2010, Jamaicans globally were tuned in anywhere they could; to hear the words of the prime minister on his recent actions. mostly they wanted to hear his plan for the extradition, and repair of his reputation.

You See, Prime Minister Brucee is in hot water because he stepped over the line in many ways.

First off he engaged a private law firm in the US to act as a third party to try to sort out some type of agreement toward the extradition of Christopher "Dudus" Coke from Jamaica to the US.

Now Why Would He Do That ?

The Parliament heard about the hiring of the US attorney firm in reference to the said individual and it went banannas, literally. they asked the Prime Minister to Hand over the Keys, caus him a drive di car inna di wall.

People are tired of the whole Tivoli Story and they want it to end. so this appears to be the beginning of another chapter of the Tivoli Saga;

Brucee Seh..

The reason we call it Brucee Seh, is because Brucee Seh Him Nah Stand Down fi the time being. this means someone will have to come up with the nomination for replacement and of course back to what we said since October 2009 - An Election will be held to Replace Him.

Some are theorizing that Brucee won't make it that long, but if he does survive long enough to be deposed, he will be the first prime minister in the history of Jamaica to be removed for his connections to his political dealmakers and gangster constituency.

As soon as the Justice Minister Dorothy Lightbourne signs the deportation order allowing the US to Extradite/Remove Dudus - all hell is going to break out around Brucee. Don't get it twisted; no were not saying that Jamaica is going to explode; But Jamaica Itself is going to explode ON Brucee for the Drama.

Mr Prime Minister - Pack Your Bags; they've got a seat for you on that plane right beside Dudus. no doubt you already know that.

Yes Ghetto President WE Know You Fought the Good Fight, yet the streets let you down. many will say much about this, but one thing is for sure - Tivoli is going to Be Hot Tonite and everynight from now on.
