Hellooo can someone turn the lights out on this empty house ?

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann reintroduced legislation in the U.S House Tuesday to repeal the 2007 law mandating incandescent light bulbs be phased out in favor of compact fluorescent light bulbs by Jan. 1, 2012.

Her resolution, Light Bulb Freedom of Choice Act - Please Watch Her IN ACTION. Remember that there is a constitution that talks about Equal Rights, and apparently she's unaware of it. isn't it almost a requirement to be in elected office, that you are aware that your job depends on the constitution ? especially if you are in the Legislative Branch of the government ?

This Cannot Be Americas' Future Unless we want to revisit our conflicted past.

Some times we need a lil reminder of why people act the way they do. the Somali's have endured generations of colonialism; conflict, and war. Watch This and think Black Hawk Down. Then look at the news, because it's all there. from the shooting in Arizona to the Protests going on around the country about anchor babies.

Now it probably makes more sense to you.

if you were in a situation where there was no way to deal with it for generations, eventually you'd get fed up and decide it was time to respond. this is pretty much whats' happening in the middle east. if the situation develops to the point that it has in Somalia, i'd say Black Hawks will be down all over the place very soon.

America, Pay close attention because you're situation is becomming quite tense. Michelle Bachmann has made a bunch of crazy statements and she's running for president in the 2012 elections. do you think that that makes any sense ?

well take a look at her history and then you can see why the desperation of americans may seen reach the fever pitch we're seeing around the world.

this is from a great tumblr blog run by a very politically saavy woman called pantslessprogressive. enjoy

On Thursday, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) announced she would be forming a presidential exploratory committee in June. Even though this is merely an announcement of an announcement, we’d be remiss if we discounted the possibility that the Minnesota Congresswoman could run for President.

In honor of this possibility, I compiled a list of Rep. Bachmann’s most… interesting statements from the past few years.
Michele Bachmann: The Greatest Hits
On the early days of America:
The Founding Fathers ‘worked tirelessly until slavery was no more’. [source]
On the first European settlers and Native Americans: ‘It didn’t matter the color of their skin, it didn’t matter their language, it didn’t matter their economic status… once you got here, we were all the same.’ [source]
Bachmann praises New Hampshire for the Battles of Lexington and Concord, which were fought in Massachusetts. [source]
Bachmann wants to reduce the federal government to ‘its original size’. [source]

On the Obama Administration:
Obama runs a ‘gangster government’. [source]
Obamacare is the ‘crown jewel of socialism’. [source]
President Obama’s trip to India ‘cost $200 million a day’. [source]
Speaker Pelosi spent $100,000 on alcohol during military flights. [source]
ACORN is a ‘paid partner’ of the Census Bureau. [source]

On legislation:
Bachmann equates gay people with pedophiles while discussing hate crime legislation: ‘But who would be protected? A pedophile, someone who considers themselves gay, someone who considers themselves transgender, someone who considers themselves a cross-dresser? That is who is protected.’ [source]
Bachmann proposes $4.5 billion in cuts to veterans benefits and freezing VA health care spending (she later backed off the plan) [sourcesource]
Bachmann says Wisconsin Republicans are like Abraham Lincoln fighting the Confederacy and Ronald Reagan pushing the Soviet Union. [source]

On a fellow member of Congress:
Bachmann thinks Rep. Keith Ellison, our first Muslim congressman, consorts with terrorists. [source]

On Libya:
Bachmann believes the Libyan rebels could be made up of Hamas, Hezbollah and al Qaeda. [source]

Quotes:
‘I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970’s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democratic president Jimmy Carter. And I’m not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.’ [source]
‘Normalization [of homosexality] through desensitization. Very effective way to do this with a bunch of second graders, is take a picture of “Lion King” for instance, and a teacher might say, “Do you know that the music for this movie was written by a gay man?” The message is: I’m better at what I do, because I’m gay.’ [source]
‘We will not stop until we repeal a President and put a president in the position of the White House who will repeal [Obamacare].’ [source]
‘I’ll tell you one thing, if I was ever to run for president of the United States, I think the first thing I would do in the first debate is offer my birth certificate so we can get that off the table.’ [source]
On her children:
  • her daughter Elisa was ‘born to be the perfect wife’.
  • on her daughter Caroline: ‘King Henry had his six wives, and if our Caroline had been one of them, I think she would have been called Caroline the Vibrant’.
  • her son Harrison is a ‘female fantasy treasure’. [source]
‘We will talk a little bit about what has transpired in the last 18 months and would we count what has transpired into turning our country into a nation of slaves.’ [source]

Can Somebody Please Turn Off Her Microphone before we really start to hate her for who she is..

Michele Bachmann is an oxygen thief. She's using oxygen that a perfectly normal human being could be using. I think it's time that we restrict her oxygen supply. She's the politician that people should turn to if they happen to think that Sarah Palin is an intelligent woman. Both of them are as dumb as a bag of hammers.

As a matter of fact, I think that the idea of a Palin/Bachmann ticket in 2012 would be a great idea.

have mercy Reggie. (side-eye)
at least offer to drive over her to squeeze out that last breath.

I absolutely love you.

she and shady could make up a whole new ticket. probably should be called the empty ticket. not enough logic between the two of them to do anybody any good.

just like i said, nice house - nobody home, ever.
