It looks like TI is headed back behind bars for his parole violation in California last month. The Judge gave him eleven months behind bars beginning November 1st. hopefully this time when he comes out we'll see no paper trail back to the courts.
What makes no sense is that this is a prescription for a medication - not an illegal or street drug. It was prescribed by a Dentist for after care following verifiable extensive dental surgery. How can you go to jail for your own prescription ? and what do they do when he goes to jail if he is supposedly addicted to the oxycodone ? does he go through some kind of rapid detox program ? or do they just put him in jail to sweat it out ? this makes little to no sense to us, from both a legal and or a medical standpoint.
According to T.I.’s legal team, a prescription of addicting oxycodone was prescribed to him after having a dental procedure which consisted of seven root canals and two extractions earlier this year, this is what allegedly helped to pushed him off the wagon.

The FTP Movement's National Feed the People Program distributes brown bag lunches, water, clothes and toiletries to homeless men, women and children.
We appreciate donations of: sandwich fixings (bread, lunch meat - no pork or beef, cheese slices, mayo, mustard, peanut butter, jelly), bottled water, fruit (grapes, bananas, apples, oranges), clothes (including new socks and underwear), blankets, wash cloths/towel, toothpaste/brushes, soap, sanitary napkins, and diapers.
The Feed The People program was developed out of a sense of urgency to provide nourishment for those less fortunate who have fallen through the cracks of society. Those families who have been rendered homeless courtesy of the states abandonment and the federal governments blatant disregard for human life.
With hunger and homelessness at an all-time high and America’s failure to provide basic necessities for it’s own citizens, The FTP Movement sprung into action. Inspired by the Black Panther Party’s free breakfast program, the FTP Movement birthed the Feed The People Program.
Launched in Atlanta, GA, in June of 2004, the Feed The People Program has spread and served over 100,000 meals and care packages nationally in places such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland and parts of Canada to name a few. Care packages that include –toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, pampers and various feminine hygiene products.
The Discjockeys from KOOL Radio participated in a Feed the People Program - they packaged over fifty thousand meals. YES 50,000 meals packed to go to Afghanistan - where they really need help. This is What Family Does, Right ?

Sister Njeri was killed in an auto accident last night in Atlanta, Ga. It was her birthday and she had flown back to Atlanta to visit with her family before heading onto the Ncobra conference in New Orleans today.
We have heard that the Ncobra board has added Sister NJeri as one of those who are honored at this years conference. She Truly Deserved The Honor.

Rapper T.I. released from prison – CNN.com. (CNN) — Rapper T.I. was released from prison on Tuesday after seven months, his attorney confirmed.
The performer, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., will serve the remainder of a reduced sentence in a correctional center near Fulton County Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
Harris was sentenced to a year and a day in March 2009 resulting from weapons charges related to purchasing machine guns and silencers.
Officials charged him with providing a bodyguard with $12,000 to buy weapons.
In May, he reported to a federal prison complex in Forrest City, Arkansas, to begin serving his sentence.
In addition to serving prison time, T.I. was placed on house arrest, given community service and was ordered to pay a $100,300 fine.
It was not the first time the platinum-selling artist had been in trouble with the law. Harris was not permitted to own any guns because he had been convicted in 1998 on felony drug charges, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, in Cobb County in suburban Atlanta.
After the rapper’s arrest, he entered a plea agreement, which federal authorities called unique because it allowed him to remain out of prison for a year while he performed.
Steve Sadow, Harris’ attorney, said prisoners with Harris’ sentence are eligible for a 54-day sentence reduction for good behavior. Harris is expected to remain at the halfway house for three months and will still be required to finish serving slightly less than 500 hours of community service and about 23 days of home incarceration.
Before reporting to prison, Harris threw himself a going-away party/concert attended by thousands at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
Comedian Katt Williams has been jailed in Georgia on charges of burglary and criminal trespassing. A deputy at the jail in Coweta County, southwest of Atlanta, confirmed Williams was being held there and that a magistrate was expected to set bond at an arraignment Monday afternoon. The deputy did not have access to a police report to provide more details. Williams’ real name is Micah Williams.

Knowing Brother Yemi is a great patron of the arts and one of my favorite sociologists; I ask the real questions and Brother Yemi puts it on the table. He lets us pick it up, because we all own a part of it; regardless of what we think, we do. Even I had to stand corrected - and gladly so. this short pod is quite enlightening on the entire situation around Saggin.
Take a moment and listen to 5 minutes on why the future is walking around us everyday; and what we need to do to relate to it, now.

When I watched this video, I was suprised at how candid TI was about his actions and the repercussions. he admits to his wrongs and says it's time to pay. Big Man Talk, and apparently Big Man Walk from this series.
I know what he's talking about when he says he was driven to the desperation of fear that put him in that parking lot where his odyssey began. this is one of the best tools I've seen any rapper create to pay for his crimes to society.
TI is a stand up guy, and he stands up and gets his house in order episode by episode. he spends each episode resolving one of his own issues, in action in another youths life. he meets them on their turf and talks about their beefs; because he knows them.
The fatherhood aspect of the show is what interested me, because he is after all - a father. his kids know exactly what he did and why. they also know that he is in jail because he decided to play outside the lines. apparently he wants them to be clear on how the mess hits the fan, and we admit that he's taking the hard approach to showing them, but no doubt it will work.
His childrens mom Tiny, has a show as well. shes' been very candid on why she thinks he did it, and why she thinks he won't do it again. it's a departure from the usual bad guy baby momma drama of reality tevee. this one we like and we hope that TI continues to help to mentor youth when he returns from prison.
