Happy Earth Day - Join Us and Listen to this tune. It's sure to get you in the mood for your early evening date in the dark.. Yes it's Teddy "throw ya panties in the air" Pendergrass.

FYI - Earth Day is a day that is intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment.

Originally Earth Day was founded by US Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in. It was first held on April 22, 1970. While this first Earth Day focused on the United States, an organization was launched by Denis Hayes, who was the original national coordinator in 1970. That organization became Earth day, and they took it international in 1990 and organized events in 141 nations.
Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network. Earth Day is celebrated in more than 175 countries globally; every year. April 22 corresponds to spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Numerous communities celebrate Earth Week, an entire week of activities focused on environmental issues. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day.
Please join us and the residents of more than 75 countries in dimming your lights for one hour from eight pm to nine pm tonite. we're already planning a candle light dinner and wine tasting. how about you ?
